Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

being wrongfully accused of a crime i didn't commit

on June 25th i was leaving a gas station where me and my boyfriend was there to buy a dog from a friend of his... His friend wanted us to give him the 300 dollars and he would then bring us the dog in 2 weeks. I told my boyfriend no we wasn't doing that and we left the police pull us over and said he reason for pulling us over was because my car fit the description on a gas pull off.. ok this is where i get thrown off track because i never stole gas a day in my life the police come back and say the dispatcher wasn't responded so he let us go... Ok on the first of July i get a 5 day notice from my landlord saying i'm being evicted because i was charged with Manufacture/Deliver Cocaine (this was my first time hearing about this).. and also my first time being in the county i was accused of delivering the drug... can someone please help i am really lost for words and doesn't understand what is happening to me.. I never been to jail before so really don't know what to expect

Wrongfully Accusation of Drug Dealing by Landlord

You need to consult with an experienced criminal lawyer as soon as possible. I am surprised that your landlord would charge you with drug dealing when the police have not even done so, but if he can prove it in court (or if you don't fight the eviction), he can win on that basis. Many landlords are extra cautious about evicting anyone whom they suspect of drug dealing because the government can take away his property if it they can prove it. If you hire a lawyer to investigate and explain your activities, and/or inquire with law enforcement as to what they may be telling your landlord, the situation may be resolvable out of court. Good luck!
