falsely accused

my ex wife has had me in and out of court for one thing or another over the past 2 yrs.,now she has even brought my daughter into it by having her say that i have abused my stepson, a social worker went his school and questioned him and then came to our home and found the accusations onfound ,but the fact remains the same the accusation has been done.do i not have the right to face my accusers whether the complaint was found unjust or not ?

I don't quite understand your question.

Before any court order regarding placement

can be changed, there must be some sort of

hearing set up with notice and opportunity

to be heard. That may be your one chance to

contest the matter. If you don't hire an

attorney and contest, you may waive your any

right to do so. It may be the only chance

you get. Temporary changes in placement

can be made on an emergency basis, so long

as they are followed up by a hearing.

But if the allegations are indeed

unfounded, nothing adverse should occur as

a result of them, right? If they were made

maliciously, you could bring a claim against

for malicious prosecution. That, however,

is an expensive proposition.
