What is the emancipation law requirement for the state of Alabama?

A person may be emancipated by being married, in the military or by applyinf for emancipation by being at least 18 years old (age of majority in ALA is 19 years old) and showing the court that he or she is self supporting and an appropriate person to be emancipated.
