Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Arizona

''forced entry by police''

two police officers showed up at my door wanting to come in and check to see if everyone was ok. apparently a neighbor called 911 about a dispute at my residence.neither officer mentioned this, but there was a dispute with a boyfriend, but he left. I told the officers no..they couldn't come in and they proceeded to slam the door in on me (hurting my head, kneck and shoulder)pulled there weapons and had there laser lights on my dogs threating to hurt them. they also said i was lucky they didn't tase me. they proceeded to search my home and made no mention of the boyfriend that had left before they arrived. my question to you is ..''do they have a right to force there way in here, causing personal injury to me with threats of harming me and my dogs?'' I didn't call them...they were called by a neighbor i guess. this was almost a week ago and am still physically hurt. thank you for your time...

Re: ''forced entry by police''

What you describe does not sound legal. Consult a personal injury attorney in your town. Initial consultations/case evaluations are usually done at no cost -ask first.
