Car Insurance after a DUI
Is there a maximum amount your car insurance can increase after a 1st time DUI offense, especially with a clean driving record? My policy for two vehicles went from $205 per month to $485.

Check with the insurance department. Large increases after a drunk driving conviction are not unusual.
