Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Reasonable and Customary for Pain and Suffering

I was recently involved in an auto accident where I was hit from behind by a vehicle going 50 mph while I was at a dead stop. The driver of the vehicle was found at fault. The insurance company paid my medical bills and compensated me for my car. My question, what is reasonable and customary for pain and suffering? Someone informed me that it was TRIPLE medical bills and lost wages incurred from the accident. Is this true?

Re: Reasonable and Customary for Pain and Suffering

Whoever told you that gave you a broad and general answer. It really depends on the nature of the damages you suffered. It will differ if you had only soft tissue injuries vs. permanent injuried(scars etc.). It also may differ depending whether you are represented by counsel.
