Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Two questions

HI, I moved from arkansas to california and have only been here for two months. My ex already wants to take me back to court. I want to get jurisdiction changed. He just wants to do this for control. He has a domestic violence record and just wants to control me still. he is behind on child support and wont put the three children on insurancde like the orders says. I need to be able to go to MY state to file if he wont follow the rules but instead i have to go to arkansas WHY?? Plus he is just making ridiculous claims to bring me back. He WILL keep doing this because that is how he works. Second question is what kind of rights would someone who is a past abuser to me (their mother) have?

Re: Two questions

You can probably compel California to take jurisdiction over this matter. Your former husband will probably continue to make allegations against you, but it will be more difficult when California takes the case. Your second question doesn't make much sense. Did you child abuse you? If you're talking about your children's father, he has the right to participate in parenting, visiting and raising the kids.
