Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Arkansas

Med Mal, file pro se??? Time running out!!!

Our MO atty was supposed to be looking for an AR atty to handle a med mal case. He'd managed to let it go to within 6 weeks of the statute (up on March 30). We started trying to find another atty, but have been told there isn't enough time to file now! Is it possible to file pro se, to possibly gain enough time to find someone to represent us/dr. willing to testify? We are pretty frustrated he 'sat' on this so long, when we thought he was actively helping us. Thank you for any replies!

You can file Pro Se and it will gain you a little bit of time. Where did the treatment take place?
