Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

customers car reposessed from a transmission shop by lien holder after lien holder authorized work. when lien holder new the car was ready the came and repo the car after business hours. Customer failed to pay there charges as well

You've lost the lien possession, rightly or wrongly. You can try to play games with filing police report, or you can just file your suit for the repair costs.

BTW: You are the lien holder, not the car owner. Learn the correct terms if you intend to do business in the court.
