Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

My father passed away yesturday. While in the hospital, the woman he signed power of attourney constintly pushed my family away. I found out 2 days ago that she had decided to pull his Life support yesterday. She constantly clmaid him as hers, and not one person in his family agreed to pull life support and that, if he could have talked,he would have said, "NO!". Now she has the body packed in ice in her house and on display like at a museum.

Is there any legal action I can take, as his son, to have this woman hand the body to the proper place; the mourge? Any action I can take at all. We, his family, disagree that Life support should be pulled, and it would give anyone nightmares knowing that their fathers body is on display, like at a museum. Please let me know

1. Call the police about the body on view and your funeral home to pick it up.

2. Call the police about elder abuse and fraud if you claim she was taking his money or property.

3. You could bring suit for the 'wrongful' death if her action caused death that wouldn't have otherwise occurred, and for 'emotional distress' to the family, etc.

Consult a local attorney.
