If you remained in custody, you would have to be arraigned within 2 court days. Since you've bailed out, the time limit is regulated by the statute of limitations. That is how long the prosecutor has to file charges against you.
In general, it's 3 years on a felony. As long as they file charges within that three year window, the case can legally proceed.
