Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

how to change gender legally from male to female

I am a post-op male to female transsexual. I just returned from Thailand 2 weeks after having SRS surgery. I wish to change my name legally to--name removed--and my gender on my birth certificate, driver's license and everywhere else legally to FEMALE. How do I do this?

You have to file a number of different petitions with the state and federal authority.

changing you birth certificate however is a bit difficult. I will have to do some research on this question.

Contact me if you have some questions about the work. It is something my office can process for you. I can do the research to find out what avenues may be open to you regarding your new identity.
