Legal Question in DUI Law in California

7 or 10 years on record

I was convicted of a dui in 98. This was when it would stay on record for 7 years. Now it's 10. 7 years will pass in December. Will it still be on my record ?

It will always be on your record, it just won't be held against you as a 'prior' once it is ten years old.
