Are there any California laws that affects ''of age'' drivers under the .08 BAC limit, and/or their passengers.

Thank you for your inquiry. Actually, there are almost too many potential laws that would affect "of age" drivers under the .08 bac limit. One affects those with a commercial license -- that law has a lower standard. Laws governing child endangerment or reckless driving also apply, and in general, all vehicle code requirements, such as seatbelt, insurance and license requirements, apply to all drivers, regardless of age or alcohol limitation.
