Legal Question in Family Law in California

Are my child custody documents issued in June 2012 still valid even though I never went through with it's orders to take my daughter to live in Utah. My husband and I attempted to reconcile for over a year but I am considering leaving again. Are these court orders in anyway voided because I never took her to Utah?

Due to this significant passage of time and your efforts to reconcile, father could be justified in claiming the child should remain in California. Your safest bet to avoid the possibility of father acquiring an emergency order returning the child to Californa would be to seek your own updated orders allowing for the child's relocation to Utah. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to assess your legal options.
