Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Ex Father In Law Became Mentally Unstable, Distraught, After His Wife Left Him After 35 Years (This Past August). She Helped In Taking Care Of My Son. But She Moved To PA From California, & Now My Ex Father In Law Is Under The Impression That She's Going To Come Back From PA, Take My Ex Husband & I To Court, & Take My Son Away From Us. My Ex & I Are NOT Unfit At All. He Does Have Primary Physical, But I Have Most Weekends, Plus A Couple Days During The Week. In The State Of California, Can She Legally Do This?

The simple answer is no, although if she took you to court I would highly suggest you have an experienced family law attorney at your side who knows guardianships well. Good luck!
