Legal Question in Family Law in California

Ex threatens to take away kids if I do not meet her unreasonalbe demands.

My ex moved to Las Vegas with my two little girls. (2yrs and 5 yrs old) Every month I pay $800 on time. I drive out twice a month when I can (540 miles). That alone costs around $250. I only make $1900 total per month. The problem is that sometimes she won't let me speak with my little girls, as well as making unreasonalble demands for more money. I can't pay more and I don't think I should have to, however she threatens to never let me see my little girls ever again. What can I do to keep her from threatening me, and more importantly, that I will always be able to have a relationship with my little girls?

You need to get a court order for visitation. Whether you need to file in Nevada or California depends upon the facts of your case. You should consult with an attorney. You should be able to get a free 1/2 hour consultation or find a local family law clinic to assist you in determining where to file. Also you should request some relief in your child support to help offset the cost of visitation as she is the one that moved.
