Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

Property Liability

A tree fell on my husband's car in a hospital parking lot and the hospital is calling an act of God and saying they are not liable. We only carry basic coverage because the car is old but he needs it to conduct business. He was at the hospital to work on equipment for a third party. Do we have any recourse against the hospital?

Re: Property Liability

What hokum. Trees fall because they are poorly maintained, not because of God's Will. Take them to small claims court.
