Employee's scared to drive to work in snow

Hi,

What are thre legal risks to an employer whom requires their employee's to report to work despite the employee voicing objection on the grounds that they feel unsafe to drive under current weather conditions?

While we don't live in a ''snow town'' per say, we do get it a couple of days a year. At the time, weather reports were not so good and some roads that they emplyee's had to travel to get to the work place, required chains.

it is the employee's responsibility to get to work. How he gets there is his problem, not the employer's
