Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I got fired at work because I asked a customer "is she your daughter?". This customer got really upset and complaint to the store manager and head office. So I got fired.

I would like to know do I qualify for unemployment money?

Simple as it is.

Please help.

Unless you intentionally violated a company policy amounting to misconduct, you probably will qualify for unemployment benefits. If you received prior warnings about customer service, there could be a problem. But getting fired for making a mistake or using poor judgment will not disqualify you.
