Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I Am In Serious Need Of Some Legal Advice

I have been with my company for 4 years. I am the senior employee. My company provided all other employees with medical insurance but continually put my insurance benefits off. The employee manual clearly stated that all full time employees would receive coverage. I incured apprx. $10,000. in medical bills during the time that I was supposed to have insurance but didn't, which I beleived my company should help me pay. I was told I had to try and settle with them prior to any legal preceedings, which was fine with me. The company drew up a settlement agreement stating that they would pay me $1,000. on the 1st of each month. I asked them to stipulate in the agreement that if payments were not made the entire contract would become null and void. At this time they are in arrears on their payments. I have now been informed that I will be layed off in the very near future and I beleive that this is due to my raising a fuss. They are also in arrears with EDD and have not been paying my dental insurance, which they have been taking out of my paycheck. I could really use some input here. Will somebody please help me??????

Certainly you have an action for breach of contrat for your employer's failure to pay as agreed. Also, the reason that you did not recieve your health benefits needs to be investigated. Are you a victim of discrimination? The failure to pay EDD is another violation. For your pfortection you would be well seerved by obtaining legal representation.
