Hi there - doubt you will get any help from this crowd - not one of them likely served or ever would serve in the military - I did not but was and am a contractor who was lucky I was not at work on 9/11 ast MY office E-ring direct hit was ground zero - the universe thanks you for your dedication as do I personally. The problem is that when you ask a free question we cant reply back and forth - that is OK - email me at [email protected] - put in subject line MILITARY QUESTION so I know it is you and do not delete it. I was civilian counsel to the DOD General Counsel and Army GC for years and will see if I can get a reply from the VERY TOP. I think I know the reply now but want to be sure.

best to you and I am glad your Mom got through that. When you reply please give me the rundown of why they advised you to sign a CO form and not a medical defermnt request - tell m as much as you can OK?

Will wait to hear from you and do te best I can

Marcia
