Action against an adult mother verbally abusing my child
I needed to know the legal term I would want to seek agianst an adult who is making malicious statements to other students and adults about my child.

You can have an attorney write a "cease and desist" letter. If the statements are false and others tend to believe them, you might have a claim for defamation. You might contact an attorney in your area about these options.
