i am guardian for child re wrongful death..stlment need to put in block acct for child; lawyer refuses to sign sub of atty cited torres v friedman; i want to fire lawyer due to misconduct; says judge must approve sub of atty; is this true

Yes, the judge must approve the substitution, but the lawyer must also file a motion to be relieved if you are telling him to do that -- the lawyer should notify you of the date of the hearing. what is the lawyer misconduct -- feel free to send more info to my private email. . . Good luck.
