Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

no specific injury

Hello I work for a delivery company. I step in and out of the truck 150 times a day. I end the day in extream pain in my inner thigh. I do play some racquetball on my own time. I went to the Dr. thinking I had a pulled muscle. After the Dr. looked at the Xray he told me my that I had alot of arthritis and also I have some impingement problems. (He refered me to a ortho) If there is no specific injury but work results in alot of pain and not being able to sleep because of pain. Is this workers comp. Thanks

Re: no specific injury

An injured worker can suffer two types of injuries, a specific and a cumulative trauma. Based upon the facts you provided, it seems as though you may have suffered a cumulative trauma injury which may also be work-related.
