atv lien

Hi. I have/had a lien with ge money for my atv. I paid it off in december and they are stating i need to provide them with a registration number or they won't release my lien. I've paid it off over three months ago. I only have my ownership and insurance info. Please help.

We presume the "they" that you paid out is a fiancial institution of some sort and not an individual. If that is so, in B.C. they have a duty to provide you with a document you can use to have the lien discharged. You can find the registration number by doing a search at the B.C. Personal Property Registry; the search can be done on-line, through government of B.C. service offices or by contacting a land/personal property registry agent.The fee is not large.
