Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado

Tobacco Citation

I didn't know the appropriate area to post this in ... My 16 yr old son was smoking with a friend in downtown Denver and received a ticket. The officer had my son's ID in hand when he wrote the ticket and got his DOB incorrect by 1 year, making him 17. He also assumed the 11th grade when my son is in the 10th. Can this ticket be beat?

Re: Tobacco Citation

You can always try, but generally a clerical error of this sort does not result in dismissal, unless there are other problems of identification.
