Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

asset protection

I have a motor home that I am paying $1350 a month for and I am going to have to let it go back to the lender. I owe $143,000 and it is probably worth in this market $100,000. What action will be taken against me and how can I protect myself and my other assets, specifically rental income property.

At this time Bankruptcy is not an option.

I am 73 years old.

Re: asset protection

They may come after you for the deficiency in what you owe versus what the can sell the motor home for. Your rental income property as well as other property may be at risk. You should speak with an asset protection lawyer as soon as possible.
