Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Ex-husband arrested for F.S. 800.04

Because of this charge I want to keep him from seeing our 4 year old daughter. I have custody of her but he's had visitation. He also has a 6 year old step-daughter because he's remarried. I don't think he's living with his wife right now since the arrest. What rights do I have as far as visitation, etc. between now and his court date as well as if he get's convicted? I know from the past when we were married that this might not have been the first time he's done something like this - just the first time he got caught. Will the investigation include looking into his past, including asking me questions? Also, what rights does our daughter have to keep her safe?
