Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

DUI Charges Properpty & Bodily Injury

Why is someone charged with DUI required to wear a GPS when released on bail because of a previous sex charge 20 years ago? He is no longer on probation and has never been in trouble since. One thing has nothing to do with the other.
