Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a 9 month old baby and me and her father are currently living together in central Florida. We are going through a break up ( not married) and he keeps telling me the baby is going to stay living in our house. He is at work majority of the day and does not do anything to take care of the baby besides pay for our home, I do the physical care 100% myself. But I do not want to live with him anymore, and the only place I currently have to go is to my parents home in South Florida about 4 hours away from us. My parents have a whole room for the baby and a separate room for myself. All of my family and the fathers family is all in south Florida, which will also allow me to have help if needed. So my question is am I legally allowed to choose that my daughter move in with me and my parents to south Florida, 4 hours away from her father? And is there anything I am suppose to legally file/ do before packing up and leaving? Is this something I need to hire a lawyer for?
