Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Lowering Child Support Payment

Is it worthwhile for me to trying to petition the court to have my support payment lowered? I am currently paying $275.00 for one child a month based on an income that since changing employment is appx. $4,000.00 a year less, while my ex's salary has gone from appx. $34,000 a year to appx. 250,000.00.

As appx. how much would it cost in legal fee's to do this? I currently do not have a lawyer.

Re: Lowering Child Support Payment

This case may qualify for a downward modification of child support but to be certain I would have to crunch some numbers and ask you more questions. I offer a one hour free consultation and I am certain I could make that determination in this amount of time. If you are interested in this free consultation then please contact me at (954)437-5968. Sincerely, Melody Stickel-Martinez, Esq.
