Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

medical expenses 2008

Does the custodial parent need to provide proof of medical expenses incurred for the child to be reimbursed- ex: doctor bill, receipts, canceled checks etc...

My exwife is tell me that for her to send a doctor bill and a canceled check or credit receipt is ''not only unreasonable but way too time consuming''. She thinks that it is my responsibility to call the doctors after my children go to get the information.

Can you tell me in your experience what do the custodial parent and non-custodial parents do for reimbursement of the medical expenses?

Re: medical expenses 2008

Unless your agreement says otherwise, she must provide you with copies of the bills. Otherwise, it's very unlikely that you'll be ordered to pay your share.
