Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

injunction options

Recently my 18 year old son had an injunction filed against him by a former friend. It stated that my son cannot go within 100 ft. of the petitioner.

The problem being my son didn't realize at the time that he would be prohibited from apearing at certain functions involving the high school chorus which they are both members of. My question is what options are open to us to perhaps get this part of the injunction waived so my son can attend the chorus functions? Another friend of my son's told him the only reason the petitioner filed the injunction was to prevent him from attending these functions.

Re: injunction options

You will have to seek court modification of the injunction. Good luck.
