Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I have a person whom I have repeatedly asked to leave me alone. She goes to any site I am a member of and "searches" me, and sends me messages. I have removed myself from several sites in order to be left alone. She is blocked from house phone and cell, and the one site I refuse to leave. This has been going on for a year. Do I have any recourse, this has caused me extreme duress. This is Florida.

As far as a civil recourse (e.g. bringing a lawsuit) you probably do not have much of a case unless you can show that this has caused real financial damage to you. However you may be a victim of stalking/cyberstalking which is a misdemeanor in Florida. You should gather the specific details related to each event and consider reporting the activity to law enforcement.
