Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Medical Malpractice

In Sept 2006 my wife developed shoulder pain. Her primary doctor sent her to a rheumatologist who also referred her to a nuerologist. A total of 5 doctors saw her symptoms developing and blamed it on Asthma she had for 48 years and rheumatoid arthritis. In Oct her legs started getting weak. In November she got a nebulizer for breathing problems. By Xmas 2006 she was using it several times per day and her ankles were swelling. She saw two doctors within 7 days of me deciding to take her to the ER. She was promptly admitted for heart testing. Two days later she was transported to a major hospital where a miracle doctor replaced all the arteries to the heart and repaired a major anuerism to the left ventrical giving her a 2 percent chance of survival. A few days later they had to open her up again to remove the paracardium. She is doing well now but has still not regained her stamina that she had in August 2006. I would like to punish the 5 doctors that misdiagnosed a very serious heart condition before we found some real doctors that pulled her through. It has been over a year now that she got worse for months before getting better. A year of suffering.

Re: Medical Malpractice

You will need to contact a lawyer with experience in medical malpractice cases. They are very difficult to pursue, so be sure that you speak with someone that has actual experience in trying a medical malpractice case.
