Renters Rights

My mother rented a condo and has a one year lease with the owner. She is now being told the association only allows six month rentals by the owners. The owner is asking her to leave, telling her the board is threatening legal proceedings against him.

She may have grounds for suit against the owner but more facts are needed to know. Consult an attorney.

The landlord would be responsible for her expenses in moving.
