Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Injured at work

I work for the US gov't. Fell down at work in 2001 torn meniscus and later file for back in 2003 due to aggravation and use of gun belt. Worker's Comp pays for everything. However, I have had two surgeries on knee and severl epidurals on back. Have OA artritis in back and knees. Suffer & in pain all the time. Miss work a lot. I'm on several meds for pain and visit doctors at least twice weekly. Can't sit, or, stand for more than 20 min without pain. I can't hardly walk at times without a cane. I need advise as to how do I request temporary disability, until I get better.

Re: Injured at work

This is a Federal Workers Compensation claim, which is much different than a State of Florida Claim. You need to consult with a Federal Workers Compensation specialist. There are very few of them, if you check the internet, you may be able to track one down. Good luck
