Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I recently recieved a letter from my workers comp case worker that they want me to go for a independent medical exam this past July I was released to go back to work by my doctor so what is my workers comp case worker up to also I have since moved from Kentucky to Florida so would I also need to get a lawyer who practices in Florida or Kentucky considering that where I lived and worked when i was injured
