I am working at a doctors office and I wanted to know if a patient has an attorney is the attorney responceable for the bill

Thank you for writing. The Georgia workers' compensation act does not make attorneys liable for medical coverage.

The lawyer is no more liable than the doctor is liable for the lawyer's bill. There may be instances where the lawyer agrees to assume liability.
