Legal Question in Family Law in Hawaii

Child Support Payments

My divorce took place in Hawaii in 1994 at which time I began to make child support payments for 2 daughters. I set up a transfer from my checking account to my wife's checking account because I never received any other instructions. Was the payments supposed to go through some other entity, or has this been fine as long as we both have agreed and no issues have arisen.

Re: Child Support Payments

Sounds like you are fine the way things are. However, it also sounds like an issue of Hawaiian law and I am not licensed to give you advice on the law of that jurisdiction. Nonetheless if she has no complaints, it sounds like the situation is fine.
