Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

Unreasonable Customer

I made a mistake by diong work for my ''friends''. I entered into a agreement to do a full gut on their home. I did some items that were not in the contract (because they are my friends) and my workers were there everyday. Now they are questioning everything I have done. They have asked my foreman to complete the work while telling me that they no longer need my services. After texting me list of items they want me to do by the end of the week (and then they want me out) they contacted my wife and they want us all to sit down. They threatened me and my wife as well (vague threat but told me to look for them in my driveway). They are calling my workers and are now trying to find out where I work full time (this is a part time for me). I am going to meet with them on Monday but I dont want them contacting my wife anymore or threating to come to my home. What Can I do? By the way they want me to stop and they would hire someone to finsh the job (and they are demanding that I pay that person) Please HELP.

Re: Unreasonable Customer

Well, you are in a contract dispute over your work. The key is to get your paperwork, and pictures together, along with your contract and speak to an attorney. It sounds from what little you mentioned here, that they are trying to bluff you off, so you do not sue them for money. What kind of money are we talking about here?
