Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I keep getting calls from a man that said I was going to go to jail and he was going to file a complaint agaist me but will not tell me any thing when I ask who I was to suppose to owe but his name is Shaun Willians and he keeps calling me from this number 786-272-6524 when I typed the number into the computer it comes up as a scam number. I have filed a complaint with the Att generals office and the BBB and they told me to file a complaint with the Federal trade comm- but he calls every day

what is the best way to handle this.

Even if you did owe money, there is no debtor's prison, so basically Shaun is lying to you. If the FTC does nothing, the best advice I can give you is either do not answer the calls at all, or answer and hang up immediately.
