Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I recently had a judgement put on me for $1030, plus court fees of $335 and $211 that brings the total to $1576. However when I paid the fee I was charged $2240. I am not sure but have been told that this is not right. Can or do they add interest or other fees?
