Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Father of a soon to be 14 yr old boy has full custody since 2002, prior the ex wife had custody. Ex wife lives flying distance away (want to say Mississippi or East coast) and is now trying to say the son wants to live with her and her fiance. They let the son pick last yr and he chose his dad (got nothing in writing when the decision was made). She pays no child support and last visit she changed the son's e-mail and the password/e-mail address in facebook so his father/step mom couldn't get in to monitor him. She deleted the step mom from the son's facebook friends and blocked the father from seeing the facebook page. She put her and her fiance's family as his family. She is stating their son now wants to live with her and her fiance. She wants him for this whole upcoming summer, and they are concerned she will do something to keep him from coming home. Can she, while he is there visiting, work it with an atty and the courts there to keep him there with them permanently without the father's OK?
