I would really like to file a divorce as quickly as possible in Illinois. We luckily have no children and the only piece of property we really have is a car. We have agreed that I can have it, but my husband will not give me the key until it is in the divorce paperwork. Do I need a lawyer to add something that specific?

If you truly agree, you can do a joint simplified divorce - the forms are at the courthouse. If not. then you have to draft numerous papers or hire a lawyer - your call.
