Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Hi, I was told by my employer that if I didnt submit a absent Report directly after returning to Work I wouldn't get paid for it in the Pay cycle. Now iI"m told i won't get paid at all, can this be done? even if I have the Available time?

The law does not require an employer to provide you with paid sick time or other paid time off. However, if your employer offers paid sick time pursuant to company policy,, the employer must follow their own policy.
