Homestead law in Illinois
My father died in 1992. He left the house to me and somethings to my sister. I have lived in his home since he died. I have done repairs and payed all the taxes. How do I get the house in my name?r

The answer to your question depends upon whether your father left a will, and, if not, whether your sisters are going to contest your ownership of the house.
