Re: Promotion

Hi,

I have gone through your question and I have to precisely advise you that there is no such provision in the Classification, Control and Appeal Rules regarding depositing of lump sum amount and at the most you can file an appeal against the order of punishment and so far as the question of your promotion is concerned during the currency of punishment you cannot be promoted and at the most you can the get the relief that during the pendency of your appeal, if any, filed against punishment the verdict of DPC shall be kept in sealed cover.

I hope that this covers the entire question raised by you.

With regards,

Sincerely yours,

Deepak Chandna
