Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in

Cheque Issued by me has been returned by my bank showing reason 'FUNDS INSUFFICIENT' in the month of April 2008 but actually the cheque were issued for two diff. dates of Jan. 2008 and were kept on hold due to a dispute between me and my vendor due to their mistake in execution of the order as my customer's requirement. In between Feb. 1st to April 4th, 2008 me and my vendor were discussing the issues created by their staff de to which my customer was displeased with the execution of the outdoor campaign the way it should be. In the meantime I informed my bankers on in the month of January only that the cheques issued to my vendor should not be homoured under "STOP PAYMENT" instructions as they did not fulfilled their commitment as per our business arrangements. After 8th of april 2008 they filed the comaplaint in the court and before that they sent me the Notice which was not recd. by me as I had already left the place permenently which is shown the postal dpt. acknoledgemetn slip also as "ADRESSEE HAS LEFT PERMENENLTY" Eventhough my vendor has filed a case aginst me for the dishonoured PDCs cheques issued by me at the time of confirming the order but as they didn't executed the responsibility my cleitn had canelled the campaign inbetween and denied to make any payment and same has not been honoured by me in turn. Pls. advise me how to protest. AS the matter is in the court.
